The meeting with the delegation of the People's Republic of China took place in Grodno with the participation of FEZ Grodnoinvest
On August 9, 2023, a meeting was held at the Grodno Regional Executive Committee with a delegation from the People's Republic of China, including representatives of the Fangchenggang prefecture-level city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest presented the investment potential of the free economic zone and spoke about promising areas of trade and economic cooperation with FEZ residents. 
The meeting from the Belarusian side was chaired by the Chairman of the Grodno Region Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik. The parties discussed the prospects for expanding interregional, trade and economic ties between the Grodno region and the People's Republic of China.
The Head of FEZ administration, Dmitry Rozhkov, held talks with representatives of the Fangchenggang Economic and Technological Development Zone, which is located in the coastal region and includes two large ports with a total capacity of 800 million tons. The Chinese side expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of logistics, taking into account the geographical location of the Grodno region and the preferences of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
The People's Republic of China is one of the key partners of FEZ Grodnoinvest. In July this year, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China Yuri Senko visited FEZ Grodnoinvest to discuss current and prospective areas of cooperation with Chinese companies, and the Head of FEZ administration Dmitry Rozhkov, as part of the delegation of the Grodno region, took part in the 29th Lanzhou trade and investment international exhibition-fair in the Chinese province of Gansu.
