Opportunities of FEZ Grodnoinvest and park Augustow Canal were proposed to the business circles of Indonesia

On July 8, the Belarusian-Indonesian business round table was held in an online format. The event was attended by Denis Shuleiko, the head of foreign economic activity department of FEZ Grodnoinvest administration.

The online meeting was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Indonesia, Valery Kolesnik. He gave a perspective  on cooperation between two countries in various economy sectors. Basuri Purnama, director of Indonesian company Jababeka Group, shared his experience of developing special economic zones in Indonesia, outlined possible options for cooperation with Belarusian exporters.

Arthur Detkov, the Deputy Head of Investor services department at the Great Stone Industrial Park, the management of Jababeka Morotai Free Economic Zone and other representatives of the Indonesian business also participated in the event.


For reference: Jababeka Group is one of the first and largest developers in Indonesia. The company implements projects in the industrial sector, builds commercial and tourist real estate, manages a number of special economic zones.


Denis Shuleyko presented the investment potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest and park Augustow Canal, described the advantages of doing business in Grodno region. The prospects for the implementation of projects in tourism and logistics sectors, furniture, chemical, and light industries were separately mentioned. Following the meeting, the management of Jababeka Group sent proposals on the implementation of joint projects in Grodno region, and the expansion of bilateral trade.
