The delegation of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the Eastern Economic Congress in Bialystok

On October 3–4, a visit of the delegation of FEZ Grodnoinvest to the Republic of Poland took place, the main purpose of which was participation in the V Eastern Economic Congress - the leading business event of Eastern Poland, which brings together more than 1500 representatives of business, politics, science and consulting.

The head of FEZ administration Sergey Tkachenko took part in the thematic sections "Economic Meetings Poland-Belarus" and "The Impact of Cross-Border Cooperation on the Development of Eastern Poland", where he presented the investment and industrial potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest, the possibility of implementing projects in the tourism industry, cooperation with current FEZ residents.

A number of business meetings with potential investors and partners in the field of agriculture, mechanical engineering and metalworking, woodworking and furniture production, construction took place within the framework of the congress. Negotiations were held with the leadership and participants of the Eastern construction cluster.

In the presence of Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Jerzy Leszczyński and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Poland Alexander Averyanov a solemn signing of Memorandum of Cooperation between the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest and the Metal Processing Cluster, one of the key Polish clusters, which unites more than 60 industrial enterprises of Poland, took place.

The signing of the contract confirms that cooperation between our regions is developing. Economic cooperation is the most important and we, as neighbors, should work as best as possible in this area.

Following the meetings, agreements were reached on the visit of several business missions to FEZ Grodnoinvest to inspect investment sites, meet with the management of resident companies, visit production facilities and discuss proposals for cooperation.
