The delegation of Polish furniture companies visited FEZ Grodnoinvest
On January 29-30, the management of Polish furniture companies TESSA and LICON visited FEZ Grodnoinvest. Guests studied the investment and industrial potential of the region, got acquainted with the preferential FEZ tax regime, and discussed the possibility of implementing an investment project for the production of upholstered furniture.
During the visit, a meeting was held in the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, where a presentation of Grodno region furniture industry was introduced, available FEZ land plots and production areas were presented for the invetsmnet project implementation. The management of Polish furniture companies visited woodworking and FEZ Grodnoinvest furniture enterprises of Mostovdrev and Goldoptima.
Today, 9 companies with Polish capital are FEZ Grodnoinvest residents. In total, over $ 100 million from Poland were invested in FEZ during the period of activity. Trade turnover is growing annually and by the end of 2018 amounted to 187 million US dollars. Over three years, this figure increased by 1.5 times. In 2018-2019 Two woodworking companies with Polish capital were registered: GABI-BEL LLC and Szynaka Mebel Bel LLC.
Woodworking is one of the key industry sectors in FEZ Grodnoinvest. Here 24 companies with capital from Poland, Russia, Israel, the Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden and other countries are successfully implementing their projects. FEZ residents form 90% of all industrial production in this sector in Grodno region. In 2018, they produced products worth 867 million rubles. Over five years, production has increased by 4.2 times.
In December 2019, a regional conference "Doing Business with IKEA" was held on the basis of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, where 90 native and foreign business representatives from various industries took part.
