The Polish-Belarusian business forum was held in Bialystok with the participation of FEZ Grodnoivest
The delegation of FEZ Grodnoivest participated in the international Polish-Belarusian business forum in woodworking sphere, which was held in Bialystok on February 27, 2020.
The event was attended by over 30 representatives of woodworking industry of two countries, including the leadership of forestry associations of Grodno region and Podlaskie Voivodeship, furniture and wood products producers.
The business forum was attended by the Governor Podlaski Bogdan Pashkovsky, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Bialystok Alla Fedorova, the Chairman of the Polish-Belarusian parliamentary group Mecheslav Bashko, the Chairman of the Association of Polish Business in Belarus Anatoly Velikin.
The Deputy Head of FEZ administration Dmitry Rozhkov presented the investment and industrial potential of Grodno region and FEZ Grodnoivest, told about the expansion of business relations between residents of FEZ and Polish business, and the development of trade and economic relations. Following the results of the forum, a Memorandum on Cooperation was signed between FEZ administration and 4Exactly Group company specializing in woodworking projects.
It is worth mentioning that 26 companies with capital from Poland, Germany, Israel, Austria and other countries are FEZ residents in woodworking and furniture production spheres. They form 90% of the total industrial production in this sector of Grodno region and manufacture a wide range of products from wood-based panels and cardboard to modern furniture and kitchens. Residents regularly become winners of international and national competitions, make a significant contribution to the development of the country's economy.
