Belarus-Finland Economic Forum to be held in 2020 in Belarus

In the first half of 2020, the 7th Belarus-Finland Economic Forum will be held in Belarus. This information is transmitted by BelTA with reference to the Embassy of Belarus in Finland.

Recently, a meeting took place between Alexey Samosuev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus, Nina Vaskunlahti, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Paivi Peltokoski, Head of the Department of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland. The parties discussed the development of political, investment, trade and economic cooperation.

Finland is the happiest country in the world and is one of the small highly developed industrial countries. The country's economy is highly efficient and has a cluster development model. The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest is interested in developing business relations with the business of Finland and is ready to provide the necessary support to the companies of Grodno region for implementing joint initiatives and expanding trade and economic cooperation. In November 2018, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Finland, Christer Mikelsson, visited FEZ Grodnoinvest.

  3. Implementation of projects within the furniture cluster on the territory of FEZ Grodnoinvest in Grodno, Lida, Smorgon in close proximity to suppliers of raw materials (Kronospan, Mostovdrev).
