The flow of tourists to Grodno has tripled
Grodno is gaining popularity among foreign tourists. Since the beginning of 2019, more than 3,630 people from 22 countries of the world have taken advantage of the opportunity to visit the region without a visa.
Compared with the same period last year, the tourist flow in the region has tripled. Over the past week alone, more than 1,430 foreigners visited Grodno without visas, for comparison, over the same period last year, 556 tourists visited us. Most of the visa-free travelers were individual tourists; about 30 percent of the total number of foreign visitors came in organized groups from the beginning of the year.
Along with excursion tours, health tours in the sanatoriums of the Grodno region and shopping tours are becoming more and more popular. More and more often, foreigners come to us by personal transport for a couple of days, the average customer's check per day is several hundred dollars.
