FEZ Grodnoinvest develops cooperation with Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China
On September 25, 2024, an online meeting was held between the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest and the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China, following which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed. The document is intended to strengthen friendship and promote cooperation between the free economic zones of Belarus and China. 
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Guangzhou, the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Office f Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China and representatives of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
During the event, the head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Mr. Dmitry Rozhkov presented the trade and investment potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest for the Chinese side and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation.

We would like to note that in April 2024, the head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Mr. Rozhkov visited Haikou, Hainan Province, People's Republic of China, as part of the Grodno delegation. Following the visit, the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of investment, trade and tourism, as well as issues of developing interaction between Chinese and Belarusian free economic zones, were discussed with the Chinese side.
The negotiations resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FEZ Grodnoinvest and the Foreign Affairs Office f Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China.
The signing of MoU on the establishment of friendship and cooperation between free trade zones, as well as the accession of FEZ Grodnoinvest to the Alliance of FEZs established under the auspices of the Asian Forum in Boao, will further strengthen the interaction between FEZ Grodnoinvest and Hainan Province for the benefit of the socio and economic development of the two countries and regions.
