Haikou Integrated Bonded Zone (also known as Haikou Integrated Free Trade Zone) is the first comprehensive free trade zone in Hainan province of China, and is the main venue and incubator for the early and pilot implementation of Hainan free trade port policy. The zone is located near the national first-class port - Makun, which ensures duplication of the “Special Customs Supervision Zone + Free Trade Port” policy. The zone focuses on the sale of duty-free goods, international trade, modern logistics, advanced manufacturing and other industries to create an industrial complex of “comprehensive customs clearance + state of the art advanced manufacturing”.

At the framework of the visit to the bonded zone, the Grodno delegation visited the trade and exhibition complex of international goods, the CaiNiao warehouse logistics enterprise (a leader in the field of e-commerce logistics), as well as one of the major food manufacturers.

Haikou is located in Hainan Province, which consists of the large island of Hainan and a group of smaller islands in the South China Sea. The geographical location of the island contributes to the development of logistics. The island is also often referred to as the Hawaii of the East, reflecting the region's tourism potential. In this regard, special attention during the visit was focused on issues of logistics and tourism. Therefore, the delegation of city of Grodno visits the New Seaport of Haikou, which is a major hub for the transportation of passengers and cargo. During negotiations with the Chinese side, issues of bilateral cooperation on the implementation of projects in the field of logistics and the creation of tourism facilities were discussed.

FEZ Grodnoinvest is actively developing cooperation with the People's Republic of China. Earlier, administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest visited the city Shanghai and Lanzhou as part of the delegation of the Grodno region.
