FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in a webinar on exports to Latin America
On October 27, a webinar was held on the export of Belarusian products to Latin American markets, including through the Mercado Livre Brasil Internet platform. The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Ruslan Kizelevich, as well as representatives of FEZ resident enterprises.
Mercado Livre is a company headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay that operates an online marketplace for e-commerce and online auctions. The platform has over 340 million users in Latin America. The company operates in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Panama, and Venezuela.
The management of Sputnik Commercial & Consulting acted as an expert on the Brazilian market. The event was organized by National Center for Marketing and Price Study together with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
During the webinar, the participants were presented with a presentation of the Brazilian market (specifics, requirements, legal regulation), described the possibility of selling products through the Mercado Livre Brasil Internet platform (equivalent to Amazon and eBay in Latin America). At the end of the meeting, a round table was held in the Question and Answer format.
Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest sell their products to more than 50 countries around the world. In the first half of the year, exports exceeded $714 million, and the positive balance of foreign trade amounted to $229 million.
