FEZ Grodnoinvest - the leader in foreign investment promotion in Belarus

As of April 2019, 744 million USD was raised for the implementation of numerous projects on the territory of FEZ Grodnoinvest. That is considered to be the top indicator in comparison with other FEZs in Belarus. In addition, FEZ Grodnoinvest has become the leader in terms of production, export and sales revenue increase.

FEZ Grodnoinvest is the youngest in Belarus among other FEZs. The first industrial sites were established in April 2002. Despite the fact, that FEZ Grodnoinvest is considered the youngest one, 29% from the total amount of attracted foreign investments accounts for it.

Every year this index increases. In 2015, the residents of FEZ attracted $ 52 million into Grodno region economy, in 2018 this figure increased 4.9 times up to $ 254 million. Totally, investments from 32 countries were attracted into FEZ Grodnoinvest. Top 5 investors are as follows: Russia (33%), the Netherlands (17%), Poland (14%), Cyprus (13%), Germany (8%).

Numerous meetings and negotiations with potential investors bring on high efficiency rates. Over 80 negations with business circles from 17 countries were conducted in 2018. That was a boon to register 15 new residents with a declared volume of investments at the amount of 300 million EURO. A few months ago, Polish company GABI-BEL became a new resident of the FEZ Grodnoinvest. It will build up wood-working and furniture production plant for the needs of  IKEA group of companies.

Another indicator characterizing the attractiveness of FEZ Grodnoinvest for the foreign investors is the share of foreign investments in the total volume of investments into fixed assets. It amounted over 54%. It is also one of the best indicators among other FEZs of the Republic.
