FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in a seminar in Smorgon on investment activity issues
The leadership of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the republican seminar-meeting on investment activities. The event was held in Smorgon with the participation of the Minister of Economy of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov and Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera. The participants discussed the results of the first quarter of this year, the implementation of investment projects, as well as measures to support and stabilize the economy.
The head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov made a presentation on the results of the activities of FEZ residents in the first quarter of this year, highlighted a number of key tasks to support the economy and the effective implementation of investment projects on the territory of FEZ in the Grodno region.
Dmitry Rozhkov also spoke about the recent optimization of FEZ Grodnoinvest territory and the potential of projects in the field of multimodal logistics. The head of administration noted that in the current economic conditions, transportation by rail can become a comprehensive solution for optimizing logistics flows.
In the first quarter of 2022, residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest increased their exports of products by 34% to $377 million. The volume of investments in fixed assets increased by 1.2 times to 89 million rubles, and the volume of industrial production increased by 1.4 times to 1.3 billion rubles. In total, 74 resident enterprises with capital from more than 35 countries successfully operate in 12 industrial parks of FEZ Grodnoinvest in the Grodno region.
