Workshop on the development of a cross-border brand "Augustow Canal" was held in Grodno

On November 28-30, on the basis of the Karolinsky Falvarek Tyzengauz agrotourism complex, a seminar entitled “Development of entrepreneurship in the field of tourism - building a cross-border brand “Avgustovsky Canal” was held.

The event was attended by experts from the leading marketing agencies of Poland “Landbrand” and “Synergia”, representatives of the administration of the FEZ "Grodnoinvest", the Grodno regional, city and district executive committees, the Marshal's Office of Podlaskie Voivodeship, etc.

During the seminar, the participants familiarized themselves with examples of the development of tourism destinations and the peculiarities of creating a cross-border tourism cluster, new business areas and the development of a tourism brand from assessing market potential to its implementation. The focus was on the creation of new jobs, increasing attendance at facilities in the Augustow Canal area, and increasing their efficiency.

The seminar program also included an inspection of the new cycling route “August Velo”, implemented under the Polska Pomoc program, the opening of which will be another step towards attracting tourists and developing entrepreneurship in the region.
