FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the round table of the Belarusian-Polish economic forum
On June 6, a business meeting on the development of cross-border cooperation between the regions of Poland and Belarus was held at the Prival recreation center. The event was held within the framework of the 22nd Belarusian-Polish economic forum «Neighborhood».
The focus of the roundtable participants was the implementation of joint investment projects, quality improvement of road infrastructure, improvement of border security, solving common security problems in emergency situations.
The head of the administration, Sergey Tkachenko, presented the opportunities for the Polish business in FEZ Grodnoinvest and special tourist and recreational park Augustow Canal, where paid special attention to such perspective areas as logistics, tourism and industrial cooperation.
It should be noted that the Republic of Poland is an important economic partner of the Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone. This country accounts for 14% of the total exports of residents and 15% of the total volume of attracted investments. 9 companies with Polish capital are registered in FEZ Grodnoinvest.
In April of this year, a business forum with Polish companies was held in the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest. It took place within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. A few days earlier, a company with Polish capital GABI-BEL was registered as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest. According to the business plan, it will produce furniture elements for global group of companies IKEA .
