The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the Turkish-Belarusian business forum
On April 16, the Turkish-Belarusian business forum was held in Ankara, Turkey. The Deputy Head of FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov participated in the event. A presentation of the investment potential of Grodno region was introduced to potential Turkish investors, and promising areas of cooperation were discussed.
During the visit Dmitry Rozhkov held talks with potential Turkish partners, participated in a meeting of the Belarusian-Turkish working group on the development and support of small and medium-sized enterpreneurship, visited the First Industrial Zone of Ankara Industrial Chamber.
In order to develop business relations between the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest and the Turkish business community a Memorandum of Cooperation with IKITELLI Organized Industrial Zone and a Memorandum of Cooperation with OSTIM Industrial Zone were signed.
Previously, the delegation of IKITELLI Organized Industrial Zone visited Grodno and met with the management of the administration and FEZ Grodnoinvest companies, examined the investment sites for the implementation of the project on development of an industrial park for Turkish investments.
Over 40 Belarusian and 100 Turkish companies attended the forum, organized within the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko.
In 2018, the trade turnover of FEZ Grodnoinvest residents with the Republic of Turkey amounted to $ 10.1 million, having increased by 2.6 times compared with 2017, export grew by 5.4 times.
This year in March FEZ Grodnoinvest representatives participated in the contact-cooperation exchange with the management of the leading enterprises of the Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters' Association(Turkey).
