Russian investor organizes the production of ecological packaging in FEZ Grodnoinvest

On June 14, Barinpack Ltd. was registered as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest with an investment project for the organization of production of packaging at site No. 2 Sector 1 (Novaya Gozha district) in the Grodno region. The investor is a Russian company that will modernize the existing production and storage base and install modern laser equipment.

The new facility will produce unique self-assembly packaging for vegetables, fruits and berries from high-density fibreboard. Products will be distinguished by high strength, moisture resistance, have the necessary certificates of quality and environmental friendliness. Raw materials for packaging will be supplied by the operating enterprises-residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest within the framework of the furniture cluster and a special legal regime.

The first batch of finished products will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022. More than 20 work places will be created at the enterprise. Finished products will be exported to countries near and far abroad, however, some part will be sold in Belarus as part of the country's gradual transition from plastic packaging of goods to environmentally friendly.

Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest strive to develop their business based on the continuity of sustainable development goals, ensuring safe and environmentally friendly production aimed at developing new types of products, including those that replace imports.

Barinpack Ltd. became the second resident of the FEZ Grodnoinvest for the production of environmentally friendly packaging in a short period of time. Earlier, in the industrial park of FEZ in Grodno, EUEcoPack launched the production of a wide range of paper disposable packaging and tableware, and the Slonim enterprises Aquapack Industrial and Albertin successfully produce paper, packaging and boxes from corrugated cardboard.
