Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest doubled their exports to the European Union in January-May 2021
For five months of this year, residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest exported products to the countries of the European Union for $120.3 million, which is 2 times more compared to the same period last year. Export geography includes 20 out of 27 EU member states.
Half of all exports to the EU by residents of the FEZ Grodnoinvest falls on Poland. In January - May of this year, the export of Belarusian goods to the market of the neighboring state amounted to $62 million, which is $20 million more than last year.
Lithuania ($18 million) and Germany ($12 million) are also among the three largest European markets for the products of FEZ Grodnoinvest residents. Exports to Germany increased by 5.3 times, to Lithuania - by 2.6 times. Deliveries to Italy (17.3 times), the Czech Republic (9 times), France (8.6 times), Denmark (6.4 times), Estonia (6.3 times), the Netherlands (3.3 times) increased significantly.
In total, in January-May 2021, residents of the FEZ Grodnoinvest exported products worth $512 million, which is one and a half times more than in the previous year. Traditionally, the key sales markets are Russia, Poland and Ukraine. These countries account for 83% of total exports. The geography of deliveries of Belarusian products includes 59 countries of the near and far abroad.
