Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest attracted 2.5 times more foreign investment this year

In January-June 2022, residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest attracted foreign investment in the amount of $151 million. This is 2.5 times more than in the same period last year. 

The geography of investments includes 12 countries, including the UAE, Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Germany and Russia. The main share of investments was attracted by residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest from the Netherlands, Cyprus, Austria, Great Britain and Poland. Their share in the total volume exceeded 95%. 2/3 of the investments were attracted by residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest implementing investment projects in the Smorgon region. FEZ residents located in Grodno attracted $17.8 million of foreign investment.

Three new enterprises have been registered in FEZ Grodnoinvest this year. The VIMZOVPLAST company will launch the production of import-substituting products - synthetic polymer granulate, the Russian investor will launch the production of unique self-assembly packaging for vegetables, fruits and berries, and the Unionway company will begin construction of a container terminal at site No. 12 of FEZ Grodnoinvest near the railway freight station Svisloch.
