Residents of Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone open new markets

In January - May 2018 residents of the FEZ Grodnoinvest exported products for 325 million US dollars, which increased 1.55 times compared with the same period last year. These results were achieved due to increasing sales in the markets of foreign countries and the opening of new sales routes.

In 2018, residents of the FEZ Grodnoinvest began to deliver products to the most remote corners of the world. Belarusian products have found their buyer in Australia and in Thailand, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Denmark, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Cameroon, Mexico and Cuba.

In the first five months of 2018, Belarusian companies significantly increased their exports to Turkey (85 times), the Virgin Islands (50 times), Colombia (14 times), Egypt (13 times), Northern Ireland (9.5 times), Tunisia (6 times), India (5 times). 

The share of exports to markets outside the European Union and the CIS increased from 1.9% to 3.5%, while exports to non-EU countries rose 2.9 times. The residents of the FEZ Grodnoinvest export mainly to these countries the products of the chemical industry, woodworking, machine building.

During the analyzed period, the export of FEZ residents also increased to the countries of the European Union.
