The Resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest Gronitex JSC launched an innovative flax fiber cottonization line

The Resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest Gronitex JSC, within the framework of a large innovative project, launched a line for cottonization of short flax fiber along a new technological chain.

The launch of the line will allow, on the basis of the new fiber, to develop a range of yarns for household fabrics - curtains, furniture fabrics, etc., to expand the range of products, create new jobs, increase the volume of export supplies up to 90%, and expand the geography of exports.

 Gronitex JSC was registered as a resident of the FEZ in December, 2011. The main activity is the production of yarn and sewing thread.  Is the only manufacturer in the Republic of Belarus of sewing cotton, reinforced, special technical threads; yarn combed cotton, reinforced. All products are certified according to the quality management system STB ISO 9001-2009.

FEZ Grodnoinvest forms 28% of industrial production of the Grodno region. In 2020, the volume of industrial production of FEZ residents amounted to 3.2 billion rubles, the growth rate by 2019 is 114%. The return on sales doubled to 20%. Shipments of innovative products increased ahead of schedule. Over the year, the indicator increased by 16% to 3.1 million rubles. The export of FEZ residents approached USD 1 billion in 2020. Traditionally, FEZ residents have become net exporters and have attracted foreign exchange earnings to the republic.
