A plan of a multimodal logistics center development was presented at the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest

On July 19, a meeting with existing residents in logistics sphere was held in the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, during which a presentation of the integrated development of a multimodal logistics center Grodno on the lot No. 5 sector 2 (Bruzgi district) was presented.

The management of СIGIKOP Logistics Company - Grodno, JSC Vilaris and ZapadTransGranitsa LLC participated in the meeting. These are the companies that plan to implement their investment projects on the FEZ site in Bruzgi area. During the presentation, the head of the administration Sergey Tkachenko told about the prospects for the development of logistics in Grodno region, new technological scheme of interaction between the residents, Grodno regional customs and Bruzgi station of the Belarusian Railway.

The comprehensive development plan for plot No. 5 of sector 2 was completed by engineering and design organizations of ATK-Intercom LLC and Lenstroy LLC by the order of FEZ Grodnoinvest administration as a preparatory stage for project development. The pre-project (investment) documentation reflects common technological solutions, architectural planning concept, environmental impact assessment, investment justification and so on.

This presentation has become an important step towards the implementation of large investment projects in the field of logistics in the territory of the Grodno region. Earlier, a meeting was held in the administration of the FEZ with the participation of the leadership of the Baranovichi Branch of the Belarusian Railway, the Grodno Regional Customs and the Grodno Border Group.

In total, in 2018, 7 logistics companies with a capital from Poland, Russia, China and Belarus were registered as residents of the Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone with a declared investment volume of over $ 67 million.
