The potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest and Park Augustow Canal was presented in Hainan province of China
From 22 to 27 of July, 2019, a delegation of Grodno region headed by the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Viktor Liskovich is staying in Hainan province of China. Within business meetings, the presentation of the investment potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest and special tourist and recreational park Augustow Canal was introduced.
During the visit, representatives of two regions held talks and signed a Protocol of Intent on the formation of friendly relations between Hainan Province and Grodno Region. Within the visit to the consignment (bonded) zone of Haikou city, FEZ Grodnoinvest investment potential was presented.
The Chinese side expressed interest in developing cooperation with FEZ residents and other companies of Grodno region, including organizing the supply of Belarusian products through a local electronic platform. Also, representatives of Hainan Province confirmed their interest participating in the Republican universal exhibition «Euroregion «Neman-2019».
This is the second visit of the delegation of Grodno region to the People’s Republic of China this month. Earlier, FEZ Grodnoinvest was present at the 25th Lanzhou Trade and Investment Fair in Gansu Province.
At the moment, there is only one FEZ resident with Chinese capital CIGIKOP Logistics Company - Grodno LLC. The company was registered in 2018 and has already begun to implement a project on the construction of a transport and logistics center in Grodno region on the border with the Republic of Poland.
