The potential of Grodno region and FEZ Grodnoinvest were presented at EXPO-2020 in Dubai

The Grodno Region Days are held at the World Exhibition EXPO-2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The National Pavilion of the Republic of Belarus today represents the potential of our region in the trade, economic, investment, industrial, tourism and logistics sectors. 

The delegation of the Grodno region was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera. Within the framework of the event, enterprises and residents of FEZ of the food, chemical, logistics and woodworking industries were presented, and the cultural and tourist potential was demonstrated.

The Head of Administration Dmitry Rozhkov held a presentation of opportunities in FEZ Grodnoinvest for companies from the Persian Gulf countries. He spoke about promising areas of cooperation, presented an infrastructure project to create an industrial park and a concept for the development of a multimodal logistics center in the Grodno region.

For the implementation of projects in the field of logistics, we offer special investment sites adjacent to the external border of the Eurasian Economic Union, additional preferences, vacant land plots without an auction with a total area of over 300 hectares for processing multimodal cargo flows and implementing service projects, creating multifunctional logistics complexes and developing an aviation hub.

 As part of the event, Dmitry Rozhkov held a number of meetings with potential investors and partners of the current residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest, including ZOV Group of Companies and Vilaris JSC. As a result of the negotiations, Memorandums of Cooperation were signed with the business platform of the countries of Eurasia and the Persian Gulf EURASIA GULF BUSINESS NETWORK and a resident of the Arab Ajman Free Zone, BRIKOIL TRANS-F.Z.E.

Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest are interested in developing cooperation with Arab companies. The UAE exports yarn, furniture, parts and accessories of motor vehicles. Since 2018, Vilaris, a company with UAE capital, has been successfully implementing its project in FEZ.
