The potential of the Grodno region and FEZ Grodnoinvest was presented at the business forum in Chelyabinsk
Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Olga Sventitskaya took part in the business forum between the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The event took place on October 12, 2023 in Chelyabinsk as part of the working visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko. 
Olga Sventitskaya spoke about the investment opportunities of the Grodno region and FEZ Grodnoinvest, including tax and customs preferences, the presence of developed engineering and transport infrastructure, and comprehensive support for FEZ administration. Particular attention was paid to the start of construction of the Grodno industrial park, a unique project for regional centers for the construction of multidisciplinary industrial facilities in combination with the infrastructure necessary to launch production.
As part of the event, B2B negotiations were held on the implementation of investment projects in FEZ territory, the development of cooperation ties and increasing bilateral trade turnover. During the visit, the delegation of business circles of the Republic of Belarus got acquainted with the activities of the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant, as well as the enterprises of the SoyuzPishcheprom Association.
In January-June 2023, the trade turnover of FEZ Grodnoinvest with the Russian Federation exceeded $600 million, most of which was Belarusian exports. During this period, FEZ residents exported products worth $6.9 million to the Chelyabinsk region, which is 1.3 times more than last year. The bulk of exports were automotive components, paper and cardboard, reagents, wet wipes and other products. In total, there are 9 residents with Russian capital operating in FEZ, including woodworking companies registered in 2022: Barinpack Ltd. and Krones-Grodno Ltd.
