Smorgon Assembly Plant JSC will manufacture new import-substituting product
Resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest Smorgon Assembly Plant will manufacture serial production of the new BELARUS lawn mower, which will help replace imported analogues on the market of the Republic of Belarus. 
The first prototype was manufactured at the end of 2023 and has already passed maintenance testing. Today the machine is undergoing the necessary certification. Serial production is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2024.
The new lawn mower is designed for mowing courtyards and park areas. This is the first equipment of this class produced in the Republic of Belarus. It is planned that the produced model will have increased demand, primarily in the Belarusian and Russian markets.
Smorgon Assembly Plant JSC was registered as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest in 2018 to implement a project for technical re-equipment and improvement of the production process in order to increase production volumes of small-sized, municipal and agricultural equipment and develop new types of products. Today, the company is increasing supplies of products to the Russian Federation, near and far abroad countries, and is actively participating in the import substitution program.
