World agencies confirmed credit rating of Belarus at B level
Fitch Ratings, one of the world's leading rating agencies, confirmed the credit rating of Belarus and Belarusian Eurobonds at B level and maintained a stable prognosis.
According to the Fitch Ratings report, the management of the National Bank of Belarus conducts a balanced and effective policy of restraining inflation and consequently reduces financial dollarization.
Also, experts of the rating agency note higher than expected rates of recovery of the Belarusian economy. According to Fitch Ratings, Belarus's GDP may grow by 3.5% this year.
The rating of the sovereign government of Belarus at B level was confirmed by another well-known RAEX agency. At the same time, the company pointed out that there is a high probability of an increase in this estimate.
