The construction of a new substation at the expense of the republican budget lasted about a year. In addition to the substation itself, over 90 km of power transmission lines were built and reconstructed. All verification activities have now been completed. The project was implemented by RUE Grodnoenergo together with RUE Belenergosetproekt and the Slovenian company Riko d.o.o.
Another substation - Auls - was reconstructed at the industrial site of FEZ Grodnoinvest in the city of Grodno (site No. 4, Auls district ). Its total capacity has been increased from the current 10 MW to 50 MW. The infrastructure project will provide electricity to the unique plant in Belarus, GRODNO GLASSWORKS JSC, as well as potential production facilities in the Grodno Industrial Park.
The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest is constantly improving the engineering and transport infrastructure. For example, in 2022, 7 infrastructure projects were implemented for a total amount of about 6 million rubles. In total, 5 transformer substations with a total capacity of over 40 MW have been built since the beginning of the activity of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
