Conference on topical issues of Belarus FEZ activity was held in Gomel

The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the conference on topical issues of FEZ activity of Belarus, which took place in Gomel on September 3-4, 2020. The main topic of the conference was the improvement of FEZ activity and investment climate in the Republic of Belarus.

The conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy Anzhelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Andrei Konyushko, management and specialists of FEZ from Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev. Within the program of the visit to Gomel the participants visited the new technopark Coral, got acquainted with the infrastructure of the customs clearance point and the temporary storage warehouse at the industrial site in FEZ Gomel-Raton.

The participants discussed the issues of changing the legislation on FEZ, legal regime, land relations, infrastructure development. The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest has prepared and announced its proposals to stimulate investment activity in Belarus.

Deputy Head of Administration Dmitry Rozhkov noted that when discussing issues, it is important not to worsen the situation of both current and potential residents of FEZ, to create conditions for attracting new investments in the economy of Belarus.

It should be noted that  FEZ Grodnoinvest is the leader among the FEZ of Belarus in attracting foreign investments. Today more than 70 companies with capital from 40 countries are successfully operating here. This year alone, they have already attracted over $ 181 million investments from abroad.
