On October 1, 1949, the formation of the People's Republic of China was proclaimed in the world-famous Tiananmen Square in Beijing. This year, China celebrates its 72nd maine national holiday. We are telling about the most promising directions for Chinese business in the Grodno region on the territory of FEZ Grodnoinvest.

Anually, delegations from Chinese provinces of Gansu Hainan, Fujian and others arrive at the administration of FEZ on business and work visits. Enterprises-residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest Kvinfood, Slonim Worsted and Spinning Factory, MedLen, BelGreenline and others are actively trying to enter the capacious Chinese market. For five years, the export of residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest to China has grown 6 times and by the end of 2020 exceeded $650 thousand. This year, Mostovdrev sent the first batch of products to China.
The first direction of cooperation with Chinese business can be the implementation of investment ideas in the field of mechanical engineering, optical production, woodworking and agriculture in conjunction with the current residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
The second direction is the implementation of an investment project to create an industrial park for Chinese and other investments in the Grodno region. The project provides for the creation of premises for subsequent lease to new manufacturing companies-residents of the FEZ.
The third direction is the implementation of projects in the field of logistics on the basis of the international airport Grodno and in the immediate vicinity of the border with the Republic of Poland with the use of the railway and the highway. It is planned to build a cargo terminal and a parking lot for aircraft, multimodal container and piggyback terminals, and a transport and logistics center on the FEZ sections.
The fourth direction is the establishment of industrial cooperation at the reserve capacities of the existing residents of FEZ for the production of hygienic and chemical products, textiles, auto components, products for animal husbandry and much more.
And the fifth direction can be the creation of objects of tourist infrastructure on the land plots of the special tourist and recreational park Augustow Canal. Here, potential investors are provided with tax, customs and other preferences, land plots are allocated without an auction, and a visa-free regime is in effect.
