Results of 2018 in infographics: 15 residents registered in FEZ Grodnoinvest
In 2018, the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest registered 15 new residents in the field of mechanical engineering, woodworking and production of furniture, building materials, chemical industry, and logistics. The total amount of committed investment exceeded 300 million euros.
2018 was marked by logistics. 7 new residents from Russia, Belarus, Cyprus, Poland and China will implement projects in this sphere. It should be pointed out that this year became remarkable by the registration of the first resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest from the People's Republic of China.
In 2018, on the basis of the industrial site of FEZ Grodnoinvest in Smorgon one more direction got developed - a furniture cluster, suggesting an increase in cooperation between FEZ residents and the creation of high value-added wood products. This year, the administration of FEZ on the plot in Smorgon registered 3 residents, including a major Polish furniture manufacturer Szynaka. Another woodworking company was registered on the FEZ plot in Grodno.
We are ready to support any business development initiative in the region either establishment of new or expansion of existing production. For this purpose the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest has at its disposal available land plots of over one thousand hectares, over 200 thousand square meters of ready production facilities, special conditions for doing business, which allow to decrease investment costs by 40 percent on average.
