FEZ Grodnoinvest investment potential was presented at the XI forum of Polish investors

The 11th Forum of Polish Investors was held on December 11 in Minsk. It was attended by the republican and local authorities, over 200 representatives of Belarusian and Polish business. During the event, Dmitry Rozhkov, the deputy head of FEZ Grodnoinvest administration, shared his experience of cooperation with Polish business circles, spoke about the investment and industrial potential of FEZ.

The forum was organized by the Embassy of Poland in Belarus, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, international law firm Arzinger & Partners, and the Association of Polish Businesses. This year, the key topics of the event were woodworking and furniture production, agriculture, transport and logistics.

Among the participants of the forum were the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland to Belarus Arthur Michalski, the Minister of antimonopoly regulation and trade of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich, the chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, the head of the Minsk office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Mikolai Tauber, the chairman of the Association of Polish Business in Belarus Anatoly Velikin and others. The forum ended by business negotiations and signing of bilateral contracts.

At the moment, there are 9 FEZ Grodnoinvest residents with Polish capital who have invested over $ 105 million in investment projects in the chemical, furniture, food sectors: TopComfort JLtd., Kvinfood JLtd., PCC Navigator Ltd., BelGro Ltd., Taifun Ltd., BelKomin Ltd., BTKVostok JLtd.Szynaka Mebel Bel LLCGABI-BEL LLC.

In 2018, the turnover of FEZ Grodnoinvest residents with Polish companies amounted to $ 187 million and increased by 17% compared to the previous year. Export grew by 22% to $ 116 million. The export statisticsof residents of FEZ over the past five years indicates a trend in strengthening trade and cooperation with Western companies.

On December 10 this year, the Regional Conference "Doing Business with IKEA" was organized in the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest together with the Polish devision of the international corporation IKEA.
