The investment potential of the Grodno region and the FEZ Grodnoinvest was presented by the Kostanay region
On September 30, an online presentation of the investment and industrial potential of the Grodno region for business circles of the Kostanay region of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place. The event was attended by the leadership of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee and the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
As part of the event, a solemn ceremony of signing a roadmap for the development of cooperation between Grodno and Kostanay regions took place. The document provides for the development of cooperation between the regions in the investment and trade and economic spheres, tourism, agriculture, culture and other areas.
Commodity turnover of residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest with Kazakhstan at the end of 2020 amounted to $18.4 million. Belarusian enterprises are interested in increasing the supply of woodworking products, chemical and textile industries, auto components.
For the entire period of activity, residents of FEZ attracted $656 thousand of investments from Kazakhstan. In June, representatives of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the Belarusian-Kazakhstan investment online forum and presented the unique conditions of the industrial parks of the FEZ located in 8 cities of the Grodno region.
