A foreign investor organizes the production of steel pipes at the plot of FEZ Grodnoinvest in Smorgon
Europlasteks Invest Ltd. is implementing an investment project on the organization of metal processing production at the industrial site of FEZ Grodnoinvest in Smorgon. The total cost of the project will exceed €5 million, and the first products may be released as early as next year.
The project involves the construction of new and modernization of existing production facilities located on the plot of FEZ Grodnoinvest No. 11, sector 1, as well as the purchase of modern technological equipment to launch the production of steel pipes and profiles.
The main part of production will be oriented towards export to the countries of Central Asia, Western Europe, the Near and Middle East. The implementation of the project will create 20 new jobs in Smorgon, bring unused premises into circulation and partially replace products imported from abroad.
Metal processing production will become the second project of Europlasteks Invest, as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest. Currently, the company is building a vertically integrated complex for the production of cotton yarn and products from it.
Earlier, on the plot of FEZ Grodnoinvest in Smorgon, the construction of a new woodworking production facility of the Smorgon experimental forestry enterprise began. In total, enterprises with investments from the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey and other countries are successfully operating at the industrial sites of FEZ Grodnoinvest in the Smorgon region. Here international companies Kronospan, Sodrugestvo, Szynaka Meble are implementing their projects, which form over 90% of the regional industry.
