Logistics is one of the most promising areas for the formation of added value in the economy not only of the Grodno region, but also of the Republic of Belarus as a whole. The role of railway logistics is especially growing, taking into account geopolitical realities.

III Congress of free economic zones was held in Gomel with the participation of FEZ Grodnoinvest
On March 23-24, 2023, the III Congress of free economic zones was held in Gomel on the basis of FEZ Gomel-Raton and the Coral Technopark. The event was attended by over 25 special economic zones and industrial parks from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan. 
The congress program included a plenary session, a meetup on the role of FEZs, technology parks and industrial parks in the development of territories, a round table on the introduction of an infrastructure platform model aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, as well as a meeting of the heads of administrations of FEZs of the Republic of Belarus.
During the events, the Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov presented the potential of FEZ of Belarus for the implementation of projects in the field of logistics and proposed to amend the legislation to stimulate investment in the logistics sector.
FEZ Grodnoinvest is the leader among FEZs of Belarus in the implementation of projects in the field of logistics. Today, 8 investment projects with various specializations are being implemented in this sector, including transshipment of agricultural products, woodworking products, transshipment of petroleum products, liquefied hydrocarbon gases, as well as wholesale trade involving air logistics. The total volume of announced investments is about $120 million.
To implement new projects in the field of logistics, 5 investment sites have been created on the territory of FEZ Grodnoinvest in the Grodno and Svisloch regions, including those with the status of a port and logistics FEZ. The implementation of joint initiatives in this sector is being actively discussed with partners from the Russian Federation. Recently, the potential of FEZ was presented to the delegation of the Kursk region.
