The Governor of Primorsky Krai got acquainted with the possibilities of FEZ Grodnoinvest for Russian business
On July 1, 2022, within the framework of the IX Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, a delegation of the Primorsky Krai of the Russian Federation, headed by Governor Oleg Kozhemiako, visited FEZ Grodnoinvest. The minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Piotr Parhomchik also took part in the meeting.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of industrial cooperation, import substitution, implementation of joint projects in various industries, including engineering. The delegation of the Primorsky Krai got acquainted with the preferences of the free economic zone Grodnoinvest, the industrial and trade and economic potential of Grodno companies.
A day earlier, the Head of FEZ administration, Dmitry Rozhkov, held business negotiations with the leadership of the Voronezh and Vologda Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as a result of which documents on cooperation were signed. During the forum, FEZ Grodnoinvest resident enterprises widely presented their products for supplies to the markets of Russian regions.
Last year, the export of products of residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest to the Russian Federation increased 1.6 times and exceeded $800 million. The total volume of attracted investments from the Russian Federation exceeded $400 million. In June of this year, a company with Russian capital Barinpack Ltd. was registered as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest, which organizes the production of ecological packaging within the framework of a successfully operating furniture cluster in the Grodno region.
