Grodno is recognized as the most convenient and cleanest city of Belarus
Grodno is recognized as the cleanest, tidiest and well-maintained regional center of Belarus. The city received the honorary title following the results of the republican review of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services.
The competition was held throughout 2017 and was divided into five categories, depending on the size of cities and other inhabited localities. Apart from Grodno, which became the best in the first category (cities of regional subordination and Minsk), the agro-town Svisloch of Grodno region was celebrating victory in the fifth category (rural settlements).
Recently, Grodno hosted two international forums. The Belarusian-Czech business forum and forum Slovak Days in Grodno were held on the base of FEZ Administration in May this year. And in the first months of next year the Chinese Exhibition Center will be opened in the city.
