I would like to note the special place of German business in the list of key investors in FEZ Grodnoinvest. The volume of attracted foreign investments from Germany has already overcome the mark of $300 million and continues to grow. Mutual trade turnover is growing every year. At the end of 2021, it amounted to about $50 million and has increased by 60% over the past 5 years. 3 residents with German capital are successfully operating: Belabedding Ltd., HAVER BY Ltd., Conte Spa JLtd.

The head of the representative office of the German-Belarusian Economic Club in Minsk visited FEZ Grodnoinvest
On February 9, 2022, the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest hosted a business meeting with the head of the representative office of the German-Belarusian Economic Club (DBWC) in Minsk, Stefan Hoffmann.
During the meeting, the Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, Dmitry Rozhkov, acquainted the guests with the activities of FEZ Grodnoinvest and its opportunities for implementing projects in the investment, industrial, trade and economic sectors, and also informed the guests about the current state of cooperation with business circles in Germany.
Taking into account the existing potential of bilateral cooperation, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between FEZ Grodnoinvest and German business, as well as organizing joint events.
For reference: The German-Belarusian Economic Club was established in 1994 and is a platform for establishing business contacts between the two countries. Its members are representatives of the German economy in Belarus, as well as other enterprises that are closely connected with the German market by the nature of their activities. As for today, the Club has about 50 companies operating in various areas of production, trade and services. These companies have invested 800 million euros in the Belarusian economy and created over 8000 jobs.
In 2021, a number of joint online events of FEZ Grodnoinvest with German business took place. In June, the FEZ administration took part in the online meeting of the working group of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy "Logistics and transport infrastructure", where FEZ Grodnoinvest presented the logistics potential of the Grodno region. In December, with the supprt of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Federal Republic of Germany, a presentation of investment opportunities for FEZ Grodnoinvest and the Grodno region for German business was organized in the format of an online meeting.
