Export of Belarusian agricultural products in 2018 will exceed $ 5 billion
On November 14, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs Igor Brylo, at a roundtable on food security, noted the prospect of Belarus to exceed last year’s agricultural exports of $ 5 billion. 
According to the ministry for the period January-September 2018, export of $ 3.8 billion worth of products has already been sent (the growth rate compared to the same period in 2017 is 103.5%), there is an increase in supplies to the CIS market and to foreign countries . At the same time, the geography of recipient countries has expanded from 81 in 2017 to 92 in the current year.
Indicators of export of FEZ Grodnoinvest residents operating in the agro-industrial sector and the production of food agricultural products, also have a positive dynamics. For the first 9 months of this year, export of products of the industry amounted to $ 156.2 million and exceeded last year’s level by over 7 times. This fact is determined by the operation of new production facilities, access to new markets. Leaders in volume deliveries are Belagroterminal Ltd. and Kvinfood JLtd.
