Economics dialogue platform was held in FEZ Grodnoinvest

On December 23, administration of the FEZ Grodnoinvest hosted a dialogue platform on the topic “Economy: infrastructure, business, regional projects”. The event was attended by representatives of business, local authorities, government agencies and organizations.

The meeting was held in the format of a panel discussion and became a continuation of the national dialogue on the future development of the Republic of Belarus. The agenda included issues of the economic block, including taxation, bank lending, the development of small business and agritourism.

Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera voiced the proposals received during the dialogue platforms in the regions of Grodno in December this year. They related to the extension of the Decree of the Republic of Belarus President "On support of the economy", simplification of public procurement procedures, optimization of bookkeeping and tax accounting, the formation of equal business conditions for all forms of ownership and other issues.

The first dialogue platforms were held in October this year. In total, more than 50 meetings were organized alone in the Grodno region ,in which more than 200 proposals have already been formed in various spheres of life, from issues in the social and cultural spheres to investment and budgetary policy. Earlier, Dmitry Rozhkov, Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, presented the possibilities of FEZ for creating regional points of growth.
