Delegation of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council
On November 28, 2024, representatives of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in a meeting of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council, which was organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Foreign Economic Relations Council of Türkiye (DEIK) in Istanbul.
During the meeting were discussed the prospects for bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, issues in the field of payments and logistics, as well as prospects for developing the export potential of the two countries. The parties exchanged experience in attracting investment, supporting business and implementing joint initiatives.
Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Ruslan Kizelevich presented promising areas of cooperation to Turkish business, as well as an ambitious project to build the Grodno industrial park with ready-made infrastructure and developed logistics.
At the end of the event, B2B negotiations were held, during which the investment and industrial potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest, as well as the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation with the residents of FEZ, were presented to Turkish partners.
The Belarusian-Turkish Business Council was established in 1992 by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Türkiye (DEIK).
The main goals of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council are the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, resolving issues of promoting Belarusian goods to the Turkish market, as well as maintaining direct dialogue between representatives of Belarusian and Turkish enterprises.
In FEZ Grodnoinvest there is a resident with Turkish capital, Europlasteks Invest Ltd., which is implementing investment projects on site No. 11, sector 1 in the city of Smorgon to organize the production of cotton yarn and the production of steel pipes.
