The delegation of FEZ Grodnoinvest takes part in the IV Conference of Free Economic Zones of the Republic of Belarus
On December 7-8, 2023, the international IV Conference of free economic zones of the Republic of Belarus Logistics Industry in the New Reality: Problems and Solutions is being held in Brest on the basis of FEZ Brest. The conference is dedicated to current issues in logistics activities.
The event is attended by representatives of the government administration of the Republic of Belarus, coordinating the development of the logistics industry, representatives of free economic zones of Belarus and Russia, and subjects of foreign economic activity.
The conference examines a wide range of issues related to the development of the logistics industry of the Republic of Belarus, in particular the optimization of logistics schemes, delivery of goods along the international transport corridors East-West and North-South, e-commerce, current problems and their solutions, as well as improving the legislation of the Republic Belarus in the field of export of logistics services to residents of free economic zones.
During the conference, the Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov made a report on Experience in Implementing Investment Projects in the Field of Logistics in FEZ Grodnoinvest and outlined additional opportunities for stimulating investment in the logistics sector of Belarus, described the trends and directions of implementation of projects to create logistics centers in FEZ Grodnoinvest.
It is worth noting that FEZ Grodnoinvest is the leader among FEZs of Belarus in implementing projects in the field of logistics. Today, 8 investment projects with various specializations are being implemented in this sector, including transshipment of agricultural products, wood processing, transshipment of petroleum products, liquefied hydrocarbon gases, as well as wholesale trade involving air logistics.
Various events are held for residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest aimed at informing and improving competencies in the logistics sector. Thus, this year, a working meeting was held with the management of Belarusian Railway and a business seminar on logistics issues. On December 19, 2023, a business meeting Logistics 2.0: new realities, new solutions will take place on the basis of FEZ Grodnoinvest.
