The delegation of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation visited FEZ Grodnoinvest to discuss the prospects for cooperation
On March 21, 2023, the delegation of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Governor Sergei Starodubtsev, visited FEZ Grodnoinvest as part of a visit to the Grodno region.
At the meeting, the head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov presented the potential of FEZ in the investment, industrial, trade and economic spheres. Detailed attention was paid to the prospects for the implementation of a unique infrastructure project to create Grodno Industrial Park. It is planned to place production facilities, a business center with exhibition halls and service facilities for subsequent lease or sale on the territory of the park.
The Russian delegation included leaders of the government of the Kursk region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and business circles in the region. It was noted that companies from the Kursk region and residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest can cooperate in the fields of mechanical engineering and metalworking, agriculture, and logistics. Today, the trade turnover between the parties exceeds $30 million.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Trade and Exhibition Center of ZOV group of companies, where they got acquainted with the products of one of the leaders in Eastern Europe in the production of kitchens, furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas for individual orders.
The Russian Federation is a key trade and investment partner of FEZ Grodnoinvest. In 2022, the trade turnover of FEZ Grodnoinvest residents with the Russian Federation amounted to more than 80 billion Russian rubles. Over the 20 years of operation of FEZ, residents have attracted 25 billion Russian rubles of investment, or about 22% of the total. Currently, 9 residents with Russian capital successfully operate on the territory of FEZ.
Recently FEZ Grodnoinvest was visited by delegations of companies from the Nizhny Novgorod region. During the meetings and negotiations, the Russian partners studied the investment potential of FEZ, discussed the areas of trade, economic and industrial cooperation with the current residents of FEZ.
