Delegation from the Andijan Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited FEZ Grodnoinvest
On 7 July 2026, a delegation from the Andijan Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited FEZ Grodnoinvest. The purpose of the visit was to study the investment, industrial and trade-economic potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest, as well as to establish contacts with resident enterprises.
During the meeting, Head of the Administration Dmitry Rozhkov presented the trade-economic potential and investment opportunities of FEZ Grodnoinvest for Uzbek business. The project to create the Grodno Industrial Park with ready infrastructure and developed logistics was presented separately, where in the future companies, including those with Uzbek capital, could locate their production facilities.
The guests got acquainted with the conditions of doing business in free economic zone Grodnoinvest and areas of cooperation with resident enterprises of FEZ. The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation and increasing trade turnover between businesses of the Grodno Region of the Republic of Belarus and the Andijan Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of woodworking and furniture production.
As part of the visit, visits were made to resident enterprises of the furniture cluster of FEZ Grodnoinvest: Mebel-Neman JLLC and ZOV-LenEVROMEBEL JLLC. The Uzbek side got acquainted with the activities of the enterprises, assessed opportunities for industrial cooperation and discussed promising areas of interaction with their management.
In January-May 2026, the trade turnover of residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest with Uzbekistan amounted to more than $20 million ($7.3 million in the same period of 2025), of which $19 million was the export of Belarusian goods.
