Belcard JSC, the leading enterprise in the machine-building sector of the Grodno region, celebrated its 70th anniversary. Since 2009, as a resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest, the company successfully implements a project for technical re-equipment and modernization of production. FEZ administration congratulated the management and employees of Belcard JSC on the anniversary and awarded the company with a Certificate of Honor for many years of participation in the implementation of investment projects on the territory of FEZ, a significant contribution to the development of industrial production.
The history of the enterprise began in 1951 with the organization of a repair and bearing plant in Grodno. After the release of the first batch of cardan shafts for ZIL-120 cars in 1959, the enterprise began to specialize in the production of cardan shafts, and in 1969 it was named Grodno Cardan Shaft Plant.
The plant's products were supplied throughout the USSR to the conveyors of factories that manufacture vehicles: MAZ, ZIL, UralAZ, LAZ. Products for the Kirov Tractor Plant were mastered, the production of cardan shafts for BelAZ vehicles was started, cooperation with MTZ, KamAZ and other factories was established. In February 1995, the Grodno Cardan Shaft Plant was transformed into an open joint stock company Belcard.
Today Belcard JSC is a leader in the production of automotive components for vehicles of all types and modifications. The structure of the enterprise includes four separate industries: mechanical assembly, tool-mechanical, forging and press and production of automotive units. There is an accredited testing laboratory, a central factory and a central laboratory for measuring technology.
The company employs over two thousand people. Belcard JSC supplies its products to the conveyors of the leading auto concerns of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries, sells them through specialized online sites Volvo Group and PSA Group. Belcard JSC is one of the leaders among FEZ residents in terms of the volume of shipped innovative products. In September, the company presented its products at the TechInnoProm 2021 exhibition as part of the Belarusian Industrial and Innovation Forum in Minsk.
Belcard JSC has free production areas for the implementation of joint projects, the development of industrial cooperation. The company has developed an investment project for technical re-equipment and the creation of "flexible" production based on CNC machines and machining centers.
