Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the visit of the delegation of Grodno region to Turkey

The Head of Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the visit of the delegation of the official and business circles of Grodno region to the Eskisehir city (Turkey). The event was held with the support of the Grodno branch of BelCCI together with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Turkey.

The delegation of Grodno region included the Head of Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, representatives of Grodno executive committee, the Grodno branch of BelCCI, of residents of Radiovolna, Stroybyt-ZOV, Belkard, as well as other enterprises of the region. The delegation was headed by the chairman of Grodno executive committee - Mechislav Bronislavovich Goy.

Within the framework of the visit, working meetings were held with the leadership of the Tepebashi and Odunpazarı municipality, with the governor and the leadership of Eskisehir, visits to industrial facilities of the region, the Chambers of Commerce and the Chambers of Industry, as well as the Trade Exchange in Eskisehir, presentation of the potential of the Grodno region and business negotiations as part of a business event at the Industrial Chamber of Eskisehir.

As part of the events, the Head of FEZ Administration Dmitry Rozhkov presented the investment, trade and economic potential of FEZ Grodnoinvest, and also took part in B2B negotiations with Turkish companies on the implementation of investment projects in Free Economic Zone Grodnoinvest.

At the current moment, Europlastex Invest - the resident of FEZ Grodnoinvest with Turkish capital, is implementing 2 projects: the production of cotton yarn and the production of steel pipes. The turnover of residents of FEZ in January-September 2021 amounted to $6.4 million, which exceeds the indicators for 2020. The main export of residents to the Republic of Turkey is formed by phthalic anhydride, plywood and chemical products.
