The conference on the development of investment infrastructure was held with the participation of FEZ Grodnoinvest
The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the conference «Topical Issues of Development and Interaction of Investment Infrastructure Elements of the Republic of Belarus», which was held on April 1-2 in Mogilev.
The invited speakers from the National Agency for Investments and Privatization, Agency for Strategic and Economic Development, the Research Center of the Institute of Privatization and Management and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry shared their views on promising areas of interaction with the FEZs of the Republic of Belarus.
At the event were discussed topical issues of investment infrastructure in the country, the role of free economic zones in the development of industry in the regions, as well as modern methods of communication with investors. Particular attention was paid to the practice of using effective funds to attract investors in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The administration of the FEZ Grodnoinvest is the leader among the FEZs of the republic in attracting foreign investment. In 2020, FEZ residents attracted a record volume of direct foreign investment on a net basis in the amount of $74.4 million. In total, over the past year, the FEZ Grodnoinvest attracted $322 million of foreign investment. The main investors are companies from Russia, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Cyprus, Poland, Germany and other countries.
