Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in an investment online conference
On July 31st, an online investment conference "From recovery to sustainable Growth" was held. The event, organized with the support of the UN Conference on trade and development, brought together leading public officials in economics and investment policy, entrepreneurs, and international experts.
Within the conference, a round table was held on the development of the instrument engineering in the context of innovation and investment activities. At the event Dmitry Rozhkov, Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, spoke about the prospects for the machine-building complex of Grodno region and FEZ, as well as about the tools to stimulate investments and increase productivity.
Dmitry Rozhkov noted that the industry can develop through strengthening the specialization of FEZ, the development of cluster cooperation, the creation of an industrial park in the mechanical engineering sphere on the territory of FEZ with the participation of existing residents, on their vacant production areas using reserve capacities. The companies have enough competencies to provide the necessary support to potential partners.
The metalworking and mechanical engineering industry is one of the leading in Grodno region and FEZ Grodnoinvest. FEZ residents produce cars and auto components, industrial equipment and construction equipment, optics and electronics. The annual production volume exceeds $ 150 million, and the partners and investors of the residents are large international concerns Volkswagen, Skoda, Haver & Boecker, Lely and others. Residents are ready to implement joint projects and offer various cooperation options.
Earlier this week, FEZ administration presented the region's investment potential at a conference on doing business in tourism industry in Belarus and during an online meeting with the Chinese province of Hainan.
