The Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the 2026 BRICS Special Economic Zones Dialogue
On 23–24 September 2026, the management of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in the international event 2026 BRICS Special Economic Zones Dialogue, which was held in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
The series of events was organized by the China Center for Cooperation of Special Economic Zones in BRICS Countries and the Organizing Committee of the Global Digital Trade Expo, with the participation of the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. The events were aimed at developing interaction between the special economic zones of BRICS countries, exchanging experience in their development and management, and expanding trade and investment cooperation.
During the presentation session, Deputy Head of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest Olga Sventitskaya spoke on the topic “Opportunities of FEZ Grodnoinvest”. In her speech, she presented the investment potential of FEZ, the Grodno Industrial Park with ready infrastructure and developed logistics, the special tourism and recreational park Augustow Canal, as well as opportunities for trade and economic cooperation with resident enterprises of FEZ.
As part of the visit, visits to special economic zones and enterprises in Hangzhou were organized. Participants were introduced to the city’s practices in developing special economic zones, including in cross-border e-commerce, high technology, artificial intelligence, robotics and sustainable development. In addition, participants visited the thematic exhibition area of the special economic zones of BRICS countries and the venues of the Global Digital Trade Expo.
The participation of FEZ Grodnoinvest in the 2026 BRICS Special Economic Zones Dialogue contributes to expanding international interaction, strengthening business contacts with Chinese partners, exchanging practical experience with foreign special economic zones and developing new areas of cooperation with partners from BRICS countries.
FEZ Grodnoinvest is actively developing cooperation with the People’s Republic of China.
On 17 September 2026, an online meeting was held between the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest and the administration of Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, following which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.
On 1 July 2026, the management of the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest, as part of the delegation from the Grodno Region, took part in the business events of the First Belarusian-Chinese Forum of Regions, which was held in Lanzhou, People’s Republic of China. Following the events, cooperation agreements were signed between FEZ Grodnoinvest and Chinese partners.
On 14–15 April 2026, the management of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in a working visit of the delegation from the Grodno Region to Gansu Province, People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit was to deepen and expand cooperation with Gansu Province, as well as to prepare and organize the First Belarusian-Chinese Forum in Lanzhou.
Last year, the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest took part in business events at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Business Forum and the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing.
