The administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee
On December 19, 2022, by decision No. 644, the Grodno Regional Committee awarded the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest with a Certificate of Honor for a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Grodno region, achieving high performance in investment and foreign economic activity. 
In 2022, the free economic zone Grodnoinvest celebrates its 20th anniversary. During this period, the youngest FEZ of the Republic of Belarus has won the status of a leader in attracting foreign investment, has become one of the drivers of economic growth in the Grodno region. Today, the Grodno region shows high efficiency in agriculture, energy, industry and tourism. A developed transport infrastructure, a high level of education of the population, a temperate climate, a clean environment and a preferential regime of FEZ make the Grodno region the best place to live and do business.
For 20 years, FEZ Grodnoinvest has formed an effective business environment for launching new industries, introducing innovations and developing the service sector. In total, since 2002, residents of FEZ have attracted about $2 billion of investments, and created 12 000 work places. The annual production value is $1.5 billion, and the trade turnover with 60+ countries exceeds $2 billion. Residents of FEZ Grodnoinvest are leaders in their industries, form more than 30% of industrial production and more than 40% of exports of goods of the Grodno region.
Over the years, the administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest has organized more than a thousand business meetings, presentations and negotiations with partners from more than 40 countries, built more than 110 km of roads and communications, and the total investment in the creation of modern infrastructure has exceeded $35 million.
Today, work is underway on new projects that will lay the foundation for the development of the region's economy for the next decades. This includes the construction of new unique factories in Grodno, Smorgon, Svisloch, and the modernization of existing industries in Lida and Slonim. Only in 2022, 5 companies in such areas as the chemical industry, woodworking, and logistics became new residents of FEZ.
