49 million rubles of taxes and other payments paid by FEZ Grodnoinvest residents in the first quarter of 2020
FEZ Grodnoinvest Residents paid 49 million rubles in taxes and other payments to the budget and non-budget funds in the first quarter of 2020. This is 13% higher than the same indicator last year.
The main share of payments was made by FEZ Grodnoinvest residents located in Grodno. They accounted for 46% of total volume or 22.6 million rubles. In annual comparison, the amount increased by 33%. Residents of FEZ located in Grodno region transferred 2.8 million rubles (+ 41%), in Smorgon district - 9.4 million rubles (+ 16%).
The average monthly wage increased by 13%, and 77 new jobs were created. Sales margins increased by 1.5 times to 15.3%. Over the period of three months, $ 157 million of foreign investments were attracted,$ 59.8 million of which is direct foreign investment on a net basis.
In total, 76 companies in woodworking, mechanical engineering, food, chemical, light, agriculture industries are FEZ Grodnoinvest residents. The region’s economy attracted over $ 1.2 billion of foreign investments. This is the best indicator among the republican FEZs. For project implementation Grodno region was chosen by investors from 40 countries, including well-known companies Kronospan, Szynakameble, Haver & Boecker, Atlas, PCC and others.
